Phone companionComing

This is a web app for your phone, not the desktop app. It lets you answer a permission prompt when you're away from your desk. There's no native iPhone or iPad app yet, so it installs from your browser, with no app store.

It isn't live yet. When it is, this page will show a code to scan, and the steps will be: open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen (on Android, Install app from Chrome's menu), then pair it from the desktop app. It needs a Plexiform account and your team's hub, because phones don't talk to your Mac directly.

Opening it the first time

The beta isn't signed with a developer certificate yet, so your system asks you to confirm once. It's a normal step for software that isn't from an app store, and it only happens the first time.

On a Mac

  1. Open the download and drag Plexiform into Applications.
  2. Open it. macOS says it can't check the app for malware. Choose Done.
  3. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Scroll to Security and choose Open Anyway next to Plexiform, then enter your password.
  4. Open Plexiform again and choose Open. You only do this once.
  5. Plexiform adds its hooks to Claude Code's settings the first time it runs, appending only its own entries, and turns on Open at Login (switch it off from the tray menu and it stays off). Restart any Claude Code sessions that were already running.

On macOS 14 and earlier, right-click the app and choose Open instead. If macOS says the app "is damaged", run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Plexiform.app in Terminal, then open it.

On Windows

  1. Run the installer. If SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info.
  2. Then choose Run anyway.
  3. Restart any Claude Code sessions that were already running.

On Linux

  1. Make the AppImage executable (chmod +x) and run it. On a recent Ubuntu it also needs libfuse2. Or install the .deb with your package manager.

Got an invite link?

  1. Install and open Plexiform using the steps above.
  2. Sign in with Google when the app asks.
  3. Click your invite link again. It opens the app and puts you on your team.

Check your download

Each build is listed with a SHA-512 checksum. To compare it on a Mac or Linux, run this and check it matches:

openssl dgst -sha512 -binary <file> | base64
